This veterinary office/hospital is excellent! I have been coming here since 1994 with my cat and now with my dog. All the veterinarians are wonderful and the nurses and staff are just as wonderful! Everyone at Mid-Island is professional, caring, so gentle and friendly to my pets! This place is very clean!! I drive from far just to come here cause there is no other place like Mid-Island Animal Hospital!

I am so glad that I chose Mid Island to be my vet. The wait is never long, the staff and veterinarians are really great. It’s a pleasure to deal with professionals that explain everything and have no problem listening to your concerns. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

The best of the best! We cannot recommend Dr Raciti and Dr Wieman enough! They together have tag teamed and coordinated the care of our 11+ year old Pittie girl. She had a laundry list of complicated medical issues her entire life, but especially during the last few months of her life. We are devastated our girl passed but we will definitely be back whenever we are finally ready to adopt another dog. The vast majority of the staff is amazingly nice and supportive too! By the end, most of the staff knew us by name.

I have been been taking my pets to Mid Island for the past 24 years. Dr. Kornet is such a kind and caring veterinarian and is a pleasure to deal with, as well as the other veterinarians on staff. The vet techs and office workers are also very helpful and truly love the pets. I would recommend them to anyone who loves their pets and wants excellent care.
